The metal filter replaces the old PPI-20 fire filter. The appliance must always have a working fire filter installed! If the metal filter is intact and in good working order, you can replace only the ISO ePM1 50% (F7) cassette and ISO Coarse (G3) filters and reuse the old metal filter.

Additional set of coarse filter mat
Placing prefilter coarse mat G3 on the top of the fine filter cassette F7 on the supply air side, enables the filter cassette to last longer clean. However, the filter mats get dirtier faster and need to be replaced more frequently, than the fine filter cassette. By only changing the coarse filters (supply/ exhaust air) more often, you don’t need to change the more valuable filter cassette (F7) each time. Having additional coarse filters ready at home saves you some money and enables you to change the coarse filters fast when needed.

Cleanser for the cell
In order to keep the ventilation unit functioning properly, the heat recovery cell needs to be cleansed regularly. Use only suitable cleaning products, when cleaning the cell. We recommend Likavex- cleanser, which is safe to use for cleansing of ventilation units but also other places in the house.

REPLACE FILTERS

Remember to replace your filters at least twice a year. Regular maintenance ensures that your ventilation functions well, and you can breathe clean air.

• Recommended frequency for replacing the filters is 2 - 3 times a year.
• Clean up the dust inside the ventilation unit by vacuuming  
• Make sure that the heat recovery cell is clean. To cleanse it use only a suitable cleanser.

INSERTING THE FILTER CORRECTLY:

• The arrow on the fine filter cassette indicates the proper air flow direction.
• The coarse filters can be placed either way as they are similar on both ways.
