Additional set of coarse filter mats
Placing prefilter coarse mat G3 before the fine filter cassette F7 for supply air, enables the filter cassette to last longer cleaner. However, the filter mats get dirtier faster and need to be replaced more frequently, than the fine filter cassettes. By only changing the coarse filters (supply/ extract air) more often, you don’t need to change the more valuable filter cassette (F7) each time. Having additional coarse filters ready at home saves you some money and enables you to change the coarse filters fast when needed.

Fireproof black G1 -filterclass coarse filter.
In case your heat recovery unit is equipped with an air heater for preheat, we recommend you to add a fireproof black G1 -coarse filter to your order.
A fireproof coarse filter is necessary to prevent the fire risk caused by possible heat from the air heater for preheat.

OR Alternatively, you can order a metal filter
The metal filter replaces the old PPI-20 fire filter. The device must always have a functioning fire filter installed! If the metal filter is intact and functional, you can only replace the ISO ePM1 50% (F7) and ISO coarse (G3) filters and reuse the old metal filter.

Cleanser for the cell
In order to keep the ventilation unit functioning properly, the heat recovery cell needs to be cleansed regularly. Use only suitable cleaning products, when cleaning it. We recommend Likavex- cleanser, which is safe to use for cleansing of ventilation units but also other places in the house.

REPLACE FILTERS

Remember to replace your filters twice a year. Regular maintenance ensures that your ventilation functions well, and you can breathe clean air.

• Recommended frequency for replacing the filters is 2 times a year.
• Clean the dust inside the ventilation unit with a vacuum cleaner when changing the filter.
• Make sure that the heat recovery cell is clean. To cleanse it use only a suitable cleanser.

INSERTING THE FILTER CORRECTLY:

• The arrow on the fine filter cassette indicates the proper air flow direction.
• The coarse filters can be placed either way as they are similar both ways.
